I won’t argue that. But It does perfectly meet your requirements! I can also attest to the quality, as I use a different set of nissen cable housings. They are extremely well made. You can certainly buy more expensive sets, but I don’t know where you would buy a more period and colour correct set than this. Part of the higher price though is from the use of stainless steel. You won’t get that in your basic shimano or jagwire sets. I think it’s pricey, but it’s a fair price for what it is, if that makes sense.
