Sorry to beat a dead horse, but since my arm is slowly mending I'm shifting gears and looking for making a purchase for next spring. Presently I'm curious about the Trek CrossRip 2 or Specialized Diverge E5 which are available locally. I am holding firm in my disdain for going with a hybrid or comfort bike. I'm still in a sling though so I can't even test ride at the moment.
