My comment is...is the only damage to that chainstay what you show? No other damage to the bike?
If you look at it under magnification, if the carbon fiber isn't gouged but rather its a thick paint chip, find the matching paint in testors and touch it up.
The bike is going to get scratched more if you race it.
That said, to me, white bikes aren't for boys. My opinion. A couple of girl friends I ride with have white bikes and it looks good on them.
Love the orange. But a pretty fancy paint job that will likely only get scratched again.
Lastly, can you tell us how your crash occurred? What you believe happened to cause the paceline crash? Was speed way up?
So glad you are ok and able to ride another day. For those of us that group ride...I have backed off group riding of late because of all the crashes in the group I ride with...going down as hard as you did is all of our biggest fear. Great you are healing and will be back riding. Many of my riding buddies are back on the bike and riding well with crashes similar to you. The bad joke in the group is...everybody is wearing hardware...screws and pins. I have fortunately dodged this bullet...likely because I am an intermittent participant.
