Not to sound callous .... but the ocean is full of fish.
Many of us have gone through this process. It becomes easier but never, I suspect, really easy .... but you did the right thing. Focus on your next partner, not the last one.
And don't be surprised if some enterprising soul fishes the bike out of the dumpster, and a wheel form another discarded bike, and melds the two. You might meet someone riding the other way on your ex.
