I used to wear those thin polyester stretch gloves under my cycling gloves and they kept my hands pretty warm. One recent Saturday morning, I was getting ready for my group ride and could not find them so I stopped at the convenience store down the street and bought some fleece lined brown jersey gloves to wear over my cycling gloves until I could get something better.

Well, I'm still using them. They keep my hands nice and toasty and only cost $2.49.

I rode to work this morning and it was 29F and 10 mph winds and my hands were as warm as can be.

No OCP points, but it works for me.
