Getting a matching brake caliper should be pretty easy. Ironically probably the only original component. Not complaining, Mavic MA40s with Campy Record hubs, Cinelli stem, neat French TA crankset (never seen one before). I'm not a bike flipper, but glad it only set me back $150. 🙂
You did just fine, we bought my son a Madison for his first road bike, he loved it, put a lot of miles on it, then the thieves took a 16x8ft. section of chain link fence apart to get it. It was a great bike, bombproof, kidproof just not thiefproof. Found it on CL but by the time I got the police involved the thief got scared off.
