"Though I dont think most adults miss the cinematic style of the 40s and 50s and the more recent 25 years is more enjoyable. That was some terrible acting back then too. "
Classic movie buff here. This statement really breaks my heart. The 40's produced some great movies and aside from the war movies and musicals, they were essentially plays put to film, which is a style I prefer over the movies produced in the last 25 years. Haven't been to a movie in a theater since I was sorely disappointed with that huge 3d movie. Can't even remember the title of it! That was the first time I set foot in a theater in 20 years, too.
