My best bike in terms of design, parts, material, workmanship, etc. has to be my Roark titanium. In terms of performance (speed, handling, etc) it's the Nishiki Professional. Regarding my favorite, though, it has to be an Italian Bottechia. It has that perfect Italian handling to it and can do everything. It's stable on flat land, but handles hills (up and down) nicely; it can be fast, but if I'm going to ride with a non-biker and know we'll never even reach 10 mph, I know this bike will be stable and comfortable a 7 mph; it's a stiff, fast, performance ride, but put tubular tires on it (for comfort) and it becomes a great all day tourer; put heavy wheels on it and it's a good bike to putter around urban city streets, put better wheels on it and take it on lively rural rides. A great all around, do anything or everything bike.
