Well, here we were last year. Three BF members who met and raced in an early-season WiSport road race in Whitewater, WI.

The schedule has been released for '06 and this race will be held on April 22nd.

Shall we dance? Dare I enter again? From the picture you can see that the weather conditions sucked. There was a howling wind of about 20 mph with the temp just above freezing. Lord knows what the wind chill was that day. I remember flurries in the air that morning as I drove to the start.

It was my first race of any kind. I fell off the back almost immediately and spent the entire race alone fighting the cold and wind. As bad as it was, I guess I did accomplish my pre-race goals:

1. Stay safe; protect that hip
2. Don't finish last; I placed 78th out of 88 racers

Now, CP, that guy's a different story...the man worked it!.....as did bikerski (not sure if he posts here yet)
