There will come a time when I will sell bikes. Just not now.
Fine sentiments.
I won't say I'm not a collector... but I'm more of a rider. I've probably owned 20 or so vintage bikes but have passed most of them along when I discovered that I wasn't riding them. I've met some great buyers through craigslist who were thrilled to have the bike I no longer wanted. No regrets there.

My collecting is like the tides: Bikes come in and bikes go out with an almost imperceptible regularity. I have 4 modern bikes and 2 vintage bikes now that I think are keepers. I also have a list of about 5 bikes that I would buy if I found them, just to find out if I really want to keep them. But most of the bikes I seek are pretty obscure so the tides will continue to turn very slowly.
