Not, like old self yet. I have, among the original things, lost a lot of fitness, through so much time in hospital beds. Which means I work outside now in the garden or on the bikes downstairs between one and three hours during the day, then suffer from fatigue, which is a relatively normal part of the injury that affected not just my head and brain, but upper part of my right arm, and my left leg and foot.

My major test yesterday was getting on and off one of my touring bikes (the Thorn) which was a little more challenging than the Bike Friday I have been using a lot since I left hospital and stayed at home. Certainly getting on and off full-frame bikes is not as easy as it used to be for me, but I am patient enough to get things better.

The other less striking issue that I probably will have to get checked fairly soon is adjustment in my new of pair glasses. My vision has recovered enough to create double vision when looking to the right through the glasses. I am also anxiously hoping that my full senses of smell and taste will return to normal -- which they almost did about two months ago until I contracted a contagious nasal disease after visiting the hospital.

Congrats, too, Heathpack, on your victory. That really was worth reading!
