Mega - When I need a easy to get to 'gravel fix' one of my quickest to get to locations is the forest service road that leads north out beyond the north side of Amicolola Falls.
You may well be very, very familar with said road; however, if not it is the road that continues out beyond Cabin C-14 in this pdf download of Amicolola

(the extension of the road beyond C-14 is
not shown therein but it 'transforms' to a forest service road that leads for miles and has numerous branches as you would see represented via a Delorme map of course :- ).
