A letter-to-the-editor (below) in the Ahwatukee Foothills News exemplifies your rager's attitude. Note that is written by an ex-police officer, and he is writing about cars killing bicyclists.

Good timing in posting that article, which many of us have seen before. If you read through all the letters, you can see that many motorists have the perception that cyclists have no respect for either them or the law...which brings us back to the OP.
