I like that philosophy. In an ideal world with unlimited resources I could buy bikes until I found one that I liked. Numbers can help understand and predict differences, at least that’s my theory anyway. I’m just on my bike for 2 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. I’ve begun to place high value on a bike that is comfortable AND satisfying to ride. If I worked a mile from home, I could probably be satisfied with a BSO. I’m a weird kind of bike commuter, I’m starting to think.
