I managed to firmly attach blinkies to the panniers, and modify a barend mount mirror as a helmet mount. Now I just need to get some reflecto tape to go crazy with. I'm even thinking of a way to use cheapo battery powered bike lights as 'driving lights' mounted low on the forks; good for highlighting potholes and small animals, maybe.
