Personally, any future bike I will purchase will have hydraulic brakes.
When I want to stop fast I can
Thru axel makes changing lining wheels up easy
If the wheel is out of true, I don't have to worry about brake rub if I'm on a ride or can't get to the shop right away
No issues with noisy brakes whatsoever here.
