105 and up are 11 spd
Tiagra is 10 spd
Sora is 9 spd

Mini group, meaning the same as what is in the chinese mini group.
For the money, you could probably get new Tiagra or Sora

Any of them would work with any Shimano crankset
I'm not sure on the front derailleur but try it, since that's what you're running. I'm almost certain it will be fine though.
Thank you for the info. If there was an inexpensive way to upgrade from 9 to 11 speed, I would consider . Currently, the bike I'd like to upgrade has Shimano Sora (3550) drive train . The rear wheel hub is 11 speed compatible. I would think the RD would work, not sure about crankset and FD. I do understand I need 11 speed cassette, chain and shifters. KB.
