Bikes: 2013 Ridley Helium, 2017 Blue Pro-Secco EX, 1987 Schwinn Super Sport

Wondering how well these apps compare to plain old google maps. Using bike routes in gmaps I get a bicycle route instead of highways or roads when one exists. And it usually does a good job of staying out of heavy traffic areas when an alternate route exists.

The other thing is that I use Urban Biker on my phone and the map will run as the background with all the ride data overlayed (speed, cadence, time, distance..etc) so there is only one screen to look at during the ride.

Once its planned and running theres no need to stop and switch devices or touch a screen..etc.
