You're very close to the Olympic Discovery Adventure Trail. We incorporated it into our tour of the Olympic Peninsula last summer and it was AWESOME. It pushed our touring bikes to the max but it was well worth it.
At this point I'd like to say that my remark about Port Angeles was meant in a kidding nature as in, "What could possibly be better to do
anywhere than get another bike you don't need because it's quaint and too cool to pass up, regardless of where you find it?" I've been to the town a few times, both when I lived in Seattle and during a couple of trips back to the area since. It's the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula and, thanks to the ferries, Victoria BC and beyond. I'd love to return and will someday. That is all.
