Did you mean the Tange Levin or the Tange Levin CDS?
The Levin is a top end steel headset in the same league as Campy, actually much better!
The Levin CDS is a mid range steel headset made of through hardened alloy steel with ground and polished races. They have plastic seals under the cups. These were made in both inch and metric. The metric ones are scarce. They're available with both 26.4mm and 27.0mm crown races. Also, they're produced in polished chrome, satin chrome and black finishes.
The stack height
IS 33mm not the 3.33mm typo. I wasn't aware that you could get them in 30.0mm and 30.2mm sizes. I never checked.
Tange Passage is their economy model. The races are not ground or polished but chrome plated over which flakes of in use. They're well made for the money - much better than most OEM headsets they replace. Again, they were available in inch and metric, 26.4mm or 27.0mm, plastic seals and some finishes. They have a 30mm stack height.
It's usually the crown race and bottom cup that gets indented and wears out. I've cannibalized Passage and Levin CDS headsets for their bottom parts to use as replacements for classic headsets like Stronglight P3 and others. These headset look classic and most people will never notice the change.
