Pretty much anything that rubs against, rotates within or slides is a potential lube point. So derailleur pivots, cable/casing entrance/exits, lever pivots, shifter internals, caliper pivots....
Then there are the threaded or clamped stuff. Chainring bolts, derailleur mounting bolts, cable anchor bolts, derailleur limit screws, seat post clamp bolts, bottle cage bolts, BB cups, pedals in arms and many more bolts.
The clamped stuff like seat posts, bars in stems and stems on steerers, headset parts on steerer...
So just about anything that is assembled needs some kind of attention, lube, isolating compound, traction compound, anti vibration compound. All can be degraded over time and exposure. The more you do the more you learn for your type of riding what can be done less and what needs more attention. But there's only opinions at to what is right until something doesn't work or come apart when needed. Andy
