When I fractured my left radius a few years ago, I rigged up a harness so I could row one-handed. It didn't work very well and my wife put a stop to it quickly. Once it healed to the point that I started therapy, I found rowing to be much better than the activities that were assigned by the occupational therapist.
I find the computer useful for tracking things like strokes per minutes, that comes handy when doing rowing intervals. Otherwise I don’t use the computer much.

The newer model computer is supposed to have some Garmin-like features...just what I need.

I am really eager to get back to using the WR. As you wrote, it is a great work out, much better than I will get at PT. Fortunately, the ortho OK’d me to use my bike on the trainer as long as I use platform pedals and don’t push it.

The WR is a beautiful machine and the sound of wooshing water very relaxing.
