i guess it's all-y'alls's first time dealing with CL and people offering more than the asking prices, therefore creating a 'bidding war'. it happens. get over it. move on.
Nope, been buying and selling stuff on Craigslist for many years. The problem is that Craigslist isn't a bidding site.

It's not a matter of someone offering more. It's a seller's negotiating tactic. If a seller publishes a price in their ad, that's an offer to sell at that price. If they then change the price, they aren't honoring their offer to sell. Pretty simple. And sleazy.
