Not sure I understand the question. Best way to answer might be: clockwise on the right-hand side, counter clockwise on the left. First, I've installed foam grips,
such as these. And covered them with leather tape. Durable and comfortable. (BTW -- my Ergons are bioleder -- the composite model becomes sticky after a couple of years).
