There are restrictions on bringing lithium batteries on planes. Common size of batteries are likely over the limit. I think Bike Friday and Brompton can be so equiped to meet regulations, but you will likely have issues with the weight.
Yeah, I'd imagine. I'm not looking at electrics primarily, though, just stating a preference I'd have on any electric bike I'd bother with.
