Both. I did Bootlegger and I also ride that area from time to time.....at least I did before breaking my hip. I live about 90 minutes away. Most of my gravel riding was out of Love Valley into the Brushies as that area is easier for me to drive to.
I also have photos from all the Colorado passes (Tennessee, Fremont, Berthoud, Grand Mesa etc). from the past 8 years of riding there each summer.
Here are a few from 2017 when I was out there for 2 weeks. We climbed Monarch from both sides.
