No problems with mine after some 5 years or more. I am taking about the rims. The wheels were built with CK hubs. I buy my tires from the LBS that built my wheels. The shop mounts them for free, so I can't opine on DIY installation of new tires.

BTW...If you ever have to deal with Mavic customer service for something like a warranty issue, you might no longer be such a fan of the company.
