1 week listner, first time caller...

Yay! I did my first commute today. Bought a Felt F80 (affordable and doesn't have sora components ) a couple days ago and I'm loving it. This forum has been an inspiration and very helpful!

Was a bit chilly but I brought my shell in anticipation. 15 miles of trying to figure out which roads I could take made the commute a little longer than I anticipated but I got to work in one piece.

Wooohooo! Feels great getting a little 15 mile ride in before the day has started.

I have a question regarding a rear rack... I'll be starting school next week and my books are about 25 to 30 pounds with laptop. Problem is, my bike doesn't have eyelets. Is there a 30+ pound rear rack equipped for panniers that I can install without needing eyelets?
