No kidding. I have a few years old honey colored Brooks pro that doesn’t stain at all.I also got caught in a downpour, which left some water marks but the dye didn’t fade. My wife has a decades old brown B72 that I touched up with shoe polish when I refurbed a 60s Dawes bike for her. She hasn’t complained about staining but maybe she just hasn’t noticed.
