Well no, you aren't correct in your assertion, so there is nothing to "understand." You asserted that a worn Brooks is attractive. I stated otherwise. This, in reaction to a post asking about the polishing a worn saddle. Both are valid replies, they just happen to sit on opposite ends of the spectrum.
