yeah, I've been wanting to do that for a while too. I need to get a new coffee maker as well. i picked up a stovetop espresso maker for pretty cheap awhile ago but noticed the o-ring had dried out. does anyone know where to get replacement rings? i've checked department stores and the coffee supply shops at st.lawrence but nuthin'. you should get a larger bodum.. they come in a lot of sizes. i've got a single-serving press myself... i find that the filters aren't that great for espresso on the bodums. i think they're better suited to a coarser grind.
ok, so to fulfil the bike quota part of this post.... rode to kensington for lunch, picked up some empanadas ($2.50 each and they've got a HUGE selection).. then rode to cavern and it was closed! a sign on the door said they close early due to illness but will be open on saturday. holy smoke it was warm.
