i've never found my monitor to be dim at all. strange. it's funny, when i saw the note that there was a speedometer there i just said to myself "yeah, great... he could have put anything in that little word bubble with an arrow and we'd just have to trust him." i'm glad other people are able to see what he's working with, i'll take all of your word for it.
