A bike shop I did business with in St. Catharines was a Fuji dealer in that period. The owners claimed they were the best bikes they sold and they handled Sekine, Raleigh and Pinarello. They claimed the Fujis came out of the box perfect and had no warranty claims. Only assembly was ever required back then and your bike was from exactly the period under discussion.
