Early Generation Colnago Superissimo (Rough)

I have this bike waiting for me up in Portland. Perhaps I can get up there for New Years if we have good weather.

Anyway... to try to avoid the guessing game, she popped up on Craigslist for $300.

Wikipedia lists the Superissimo from 82 to 88. I'm guessing on the early side, so 82/3/4?

It obviously will need a complete restoration, and a few missing parts to be added, or swapped in. PAINT? The Chrome work has me a bit worried, in part because that is also what separates the Superissimo from other models.

Replacing the front cable guide should be pretty straight forward. Oddly, it appears as if the frame is designed for 3 cable guides, with the front one missing, which is odd for Colnago.

The white logo decal era of Colnago is actually one of my least favorite designs. However, in the C&V world, "embellishment" is often frowned upon. So, I may consider color changes, but will probably try to keep the same basic design.
