The Headtube indicates that Bruno’s business used to operate at 189 Erindale Ave, Hamilton, Ontario, but that may have been his residence. I suspect that Andrew Gobbo, BMX rider you may know from YouTube, is a descendant of Bruno, and may have been the way this bike migrated to Vancouver.

I built it up with a set of Campy ErgoPower Brifters to get a feel. This bike rides like you would expect from a vintage Italian road bike from the early 70’s. Tight geometry and smooth riding. I am now planning to change its equipment to a more traditional transmission with DT friction shifters and non-aero brake levers. I am interested in any information members (especially from Ontario) who may know of other bikes made by Bruno Gobbo. I am also interested in if anyone has an idea of when this frame was built the BB is stamped:
C.X.L GB
59.125
Looks good, get it on, make it so.

I would do whatever it takes to reach out to the youtube kid and see what he has to say, if he's got a story we want to hear it.
