I guess we are talking carbon fiber to aluminum. Let me see what I can find out. I have a couple of things in mind that would likely work but we have a specialist and a mechanical engineer that might know what would be best. I work in manufacturing not repair so we use what the specs tell us to use and don't have to make decisions.
Here is my opinion of what will need to be done. Somehow you will have to separate the the failed joints even if the top tube or down tube is still holding. The bond may have failed due to age or possibly mold release or some kind of contamination not removed before assembly. Whatever happened you won't be able to inject anything. Then they will have to be cleaned and possibility roughed up and the adhesive applied. Everything will have to be aligned correctly before the adhesive sets up. After cure time you should then be good to go. Someone who builds frames will know how to get everything back right or maybe the joints will be tight enough that they will align themselves.
Anyone have any better ideas?
