I didn't realize those were available. I'd be curious how they hold up compared to typical bicycle axles. Chromoly? Some other alloy?

There is, of course, also 3/8 x 26 tpi, so it may or may not fit. Is 24 TPI more common for coaster brake hubs?

Grade 8 is the toughest standard bolt grade on the market. I'd worry that Grade 2 (typical) bolts would bend or break the first time down the driveway.

Although, perhaps 12.9 Metric might be tougher.
