I own probably a dozen winter base layers, mostly of different designs/materials.
(Though I do have three identical Ibex 150 merino wool base layers and two identical Early Winters Furnace Shirts.)
The only thing that's the "same" about all of them is that they're long sleeve.
...which doesn't mean that I don't sometimes wear a
short sleeve base layer in winter. But that's rare.
