I'm looking to buy another bike and I've narrowed it down to the Canyon CF 7 (different but same frame as yours) or the Trek FX6. I'm the same height as you but have a 33" inseam. When I put in the "numbers" on the Canyon website it says I should get a small. That throws me off a bit because my Trek DS3 is a large and, in terms of size, I'm really happy with it (after putting a slightly shorter riser stem on it) and it will be a bike I continue to ride (a lot!). In terms of riding position I certainly don't want a fully upright riding position like on a cruiser/comfort bike but, OTH, at 69 I have no desire to be in a aero position either. The Brooks B17 saddle on my DS3 is about the same height as the flat bars that are on it.

So, with the above in mind, what is your riding position on the Canyon? I believe you said you ended up buying a medium.
