Well, it took awhile, but it's finally done. I bought this in rough shape, locally, back in February. I got started on during the winter, then spring came around and been riding all season. Now that it's cold and with some vacation time, it's done.
After stripping it down to a bare frame and removing the fork, cleaning and polishing the frame several times, polishing every chrome and aluminum part, repacking headset and bottom bracket (thanks to a member here that loaned me the Stronglight extractor), replacing derailleurs and shifters with correct Simplex pieces, replacing brake levers,

(thanks to other members for the sales and a donation of the rear), cleaning and polishing the rims/hubs, adding some nice used tubulars, and adding a new chain, cables, and tape, it's done! Some before and after pictures.
This was the first 10 speed bike I ever had as young man. I bought this one for the memories to add to my little collection. I wish it were a PX-10 after all the elbow grease!
