Bikes: Mike Melton custom, Alex Moulton AM, Dahon Curl

Neither skinwall nor thin tread, but it's hard to beat the Schwalbe Marathon Greenguard. Continental offers a number of German-made tires in 27", including the new Gator Hardshell.
