Nice Bike! I have a question about those wheels; do they have that "foil" strip covering the rim-holes like the 20"/BMX wheels did? I seem to remember them being red/gold or black/gold sided. When I worked in a bike shop way-back-when, those strips were always cracking and it was almost impossible to get new ones. Enjoy the bike!
yes one rim still has the red/gold foil strip. the other has been replaced with a basic rim strip. i guess one could make a replacement by cutting a long strip from a heavy duty aluminum foil.
