That's sad, I rode by a dead cat that looked just like my black cat while on my way to work before, and didn't see the body until I'd turned the corner. I did not want to start my day like that.

I was riding home from my GFs the night I lost the black cat and saw one sitting by the bike path staring at me as I drew near. Ordinarily, animals will flee when they see me at night, but this one sat there slowly blinking at me like they do when they trust someone. It was very comforting, and I've never seen that cat again - not had I before.
