You also have to remember that some races are added on later in the season. I believe the OSU/OU race was not on the schedule at the beginning of the season, but was added later.
Besides, the area (central and southern Ohio) has plenty of USCF racing. You can race every weekend in the midwest from March through September if you don't mind driving a little bit.
