Ditto, the Kool Stop bead jack. I always tuck it into my jersey pocket. I like Conti and Schwalbe road bike tires but they tend to fit very tightly. I can't imagine wrestling with those tires in winter with cold, wet, numb hands. The Kool Stop makes it easy.
