A few years ago I spotted this Bridgestone 400 on the top of the heap in a scrapper's truck. After knocking on a few doors and getting absolutely no response from anyone, I left a note under the wiper offering to buy it and left.
The next day the truck was cleaned out, with a greasy smudge where the appliances were. I never heard back from the scrapper, but I don't regret leaving the bike. Some things just aren't worth the possible consequences.
