I have just won an auction and am awaiting delivery of a Panasonic Team 1200 Custom PICS bike. It appears to have an all Shimano 600 Gruppo and a lugged Tange Primier frame, here are some pictures from the auction. Once it arrives I will post more both here and in Classic & Vintage. Does anyone know if 1989 was the only year that PICS was offered for Panasonic bikes? Does anyone know what the "1200" stands for? I have seen pictures of "Team Custom" & "Team (Europe/Japan/America) Custom" Panasonic bicycles, but have found no reference to "Team Customs" with "1200" . Thanks for any information you can provide, once it arrives and I have had a chance to clean it and sort it our I will post more pictures. I have a sense that his is a rare bike, given not many were made and that each was a one-of according to the customers build choices? Thanks again.
