Thanks. I forgot almost all of my college physics decades ago. As a retired geological engineer I think my training in alternator design was very close to zero, although I do remember attending one 45 minute lecture on electric drive mining trucks decades ago. Most of my knowledge on alternators with permanent magnets is from the electrical system in a 1968 Triumph T100R motorcycle.
