I was reading yesterday about these super bike locks that cost up to $80. All they are is a chain with a rubber coating and a padlock.

Has anyone ever gone to the hardware store bought a chain, electrical tape and a padlock? Then all you have to do is wrap the chain and padlock in the electrical tape and use it on your bike.

Call me crazy, but I think that's what I'm gonna do for my bike. You can get the exact thickness and weight of chain you want. Everything is custom so it's up to you!
