I can fully grasp the link between supply and demand while also disagreeing with a society that wants to spend what I determine to be excessive amounts of money of things that I consider to not be of importance.

For the record, that last sentence isnt what I personally think, but i typed it out because its absolutely possible.

What specifically about the link between supply and demand do you think the OP doesnt understand but must understand to no longer hold the view he holds?


To be clear, the reason I responded is because there are many socioeconomic theories that I fully understand, but disagree with. To disagree doesnt mean one doesnt fully grasp something.
